Kirigalpotta is a one-day guided walk inside Horton Plains National Park to Sri Lanka's second-highest summit, at 2,395 metres. You leave Nuwara Eliya before dawn to meet the park opening, walk the summit path, and return the same afternoon. The day is cold, often wet, and exposed to weather changes. Ask for the rate. The park ticket is confirmed in your quote.
This is not a Knuckles trail and not a Pekoe stage. It is a national-park path across highland grassland and dwarf forest to a broad summit. Cloud can remove the view even when the walk itself is straightforward. We turn back if the weather makes the open ground a poor idea. World's End can be added only when the ticket and the clock both allow it.
Note: Pickup in Nuwara Eliya at 5:30 a.m. Drop-off Nuwara Eliya, afternoon.
Pre-dawn pickup, enter the park when it opens, walk to Kirigalpotta and back, and return to Nuwara Eliya.
